Y Solve Capital, a public benefit company, develops innovative financial solutions to lower the cost of capital for Lab portfolio companies. In addition, our finance arm brings the rigor of institutional portfolio construction and management to impact investors.
Y Solve Foundry, a 501 (c)(3), brings emerging technologies to the impact sector by delivering innovative Y Solve Lab portfolio products to non-profits, universities, and cities/agencies.

There is an urgency to address systemic societal problems that the current mechanisms of capital, philanthropy, and government are failing to improve. The policies of many administrations are exacerbating societal challenges and breaking norms with potential harmful consequences. There is a toxic combination of policies and application of emerging technologies, laying the groundwork to exacerbate societal problems.
It is clear that for many, intertwined societal challenges are getting worse. Not only are they getting worse they form a Gordion Knot (a metaphor for incredibly complex, intractable problems). Our model does good at scale.
Our Key Insight: There continues to be a structural underinvestment in the key pilars of Education, Healthcare, and Infrastructure. Since core needs are not being met, unfortunately the goal of shared prosperity is becoming more unattainable.
