Initiatives

Impact Innovation Accelerator.

The Impact Innovation Accelerator gives funders a scalable way to strengthen nonprofit capacity, drive data-driven decision-making, and open funding pathways that deliver measurable, sustainable impact across the sector.

The nonprofit sector is constrained by inefficiencies that limit impact: fragmented funding streams, inconsistent data use, and scarce innovation funding leave organizations reactive and under-resourced. Nonprofits struggle to invest in capacity because dollars are tied up in short-term delivery, while boards and executives often lack adaptive tools. At the same time, funders face their own challenge—grant making remains fragmented, measurement is inconsistent across portfolios, and too often compliance is rewarded over creativity. The result is a cycle where dollars work hard but deliver less than their true potential.

The Impact Innovation Accelerator is designed to break that cycle. Backed by Impact Innovation Capital, the Accelerator gives funders a structured way to invest in sector-wide innovation with a guaranteed financial return and measurable social outcomes. It strengthens nonprofit capacity with practical tools—such as theory of change, logic models, adaptive strategy, and measurement systems—while creating a replicable funding pathway that links capital to results.

Equity Value Creation Framework (EVCF).

The Foundry partners with Possibyl, a Lab company, to deliver the Equity Value Creation Framework to help organizations integrate equity as a core value while aligning their strategy, planning, implementation, data operating model, and measurement operating model.

EVCF enables leaders to:

  • Accelerate adaptability - Increase the velocity of value creation by linking equity to organizational resilience.

  • Clarify individual contributions - Link equity as a core value to organizational performance and outcomes.

  • Strengthen decision-making- Build a culture of data and measurement that integrates equity into planning, resource allocation, and execution.

  • Prioritize with purpose - Align organizational resources to outcomes.

  • Embed resilience - Deploy a methodology of continual improvement that stress-tests systems against context changes and internal resource allocation shifts, and suggests the requisite responses.

Centers

Academic.

The Academic Center of Excellence provides curriculum development, testing, and learning program to lab companies.

Y Impact Exchange.

The Y Impact Exchange (YIE) is Y Solve Foundry’s integrated platform solution to help nonprofits recover lost revenue, reduce fragility, and grow new resources. Built around three operating modules, YIE delivers practical, scalable tools that strengthen financial stability and mission capacity:

  • Resource Exchange – A live platform that lowers operating costs by matching nonprofit needs with underused community assets (people, facilities, supplies).

  • Capital Access – Simple financial tools that stabilize cash flow and generate short-term returns from idle reserves.

  • Income Innovation – Support for launching earned-income pilots and social enterprise models that supplement donations with sustainable revenue.
